May All Glory and Thanks be to the Most High God.
Today we are looking at the word “El-Elyon”
Meaning : The Most High God / God, the Highest / The Supreme
Because the Hebrew word EL refers to God - we call EL along with Elyone to become "El-Elyone".
The Hebrew word "Elyone" is not found in the English Version.
It is used about 28 times in the Old Testament.
Comes 19 times in the book of Psalms alone!
The place where the word was first used is Gen. 14:18
Some other verse references Gen. 14: 19-20, 14:22; Psa. 57:2; 78:35
May the blessings of God, the Most High be upon us.
