Greetings to you in the name of Father,
Son and Holy Spirit.
Today we see about the Number “3”
It refers to Godhead. The Father, The Son
and the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:8)
Father, Son and Holy Spirit – Three are
One (1 John 5:7)
... The number format has 3
points that is the beginning center & end.
On the 3rd day the
earth was separated from the water and life began. Genesis 1:
9-13.
After the Flood of Noah's day, mankind
began to have three sons: Noah, Sam, and Jabeth [Gen. 10: 1-32].
Abraham met 3
Messengers from God. He served them with 3 measures of
meal (Gen 18:1,2,6)
After a three-day trek to Mount Moriah,
Abraham goes to sacrifice his son. Gen 22: 1-4.
God blessed Israel with 3
blessings magnificiently (Num 6:23-26)
He is Holy, Holy, Holy ! (Isa 6:3)
The baby Moses was hidden by his mother
for three months [Ex 2:1] and the elderly Moses appealed
to Pharaoh to allow to take his people into the wilderness on a three-day
journey [Ex 3:18].
At the tabernacle and the Temple in
Jerusalem was divided into three parts, the Outer court, the Holy place, and
the Most Holy place. Ex 27: 9; 26: 1-30,
35-37; 31-34; 38: 9-20;
21-31; 40: 1-33; 1
Kings 6: 1-37.
The Lord descended on Mount Sinai to give
His law on the ‘third day’ (Job 19:11).
Jonah was in the Fish belly for 3 days
Jesus Christ rose on 3rd
day
There were three disciples during the last
moment with Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane (Mat 9:2; 26:37), and there were three crosses on Calvary.
3 times Peter denied – John 26:69-75
3 times Jesus encouraged Peter to confess –
John 21:15-17
Jesus, The king of Jews – written over the
Cross in 3 Languages (John 19:20)
Two thieves were crucified with Jesus
Christ - there were 3 crosses!
It is so happened that along with Jesus
Christ, 2 theives were also crucified – totals 3 crosses!
Jesus rose from the dead on the third day.
[Matt 16:21, 17:23, 20:19;
Mark 9:31, 10:34; Luke 9:22,
18:33, 24: 7, 46;
Acts 10:40].
Saul (Paul) was blind for three days.
[Acts 9: 9].
Heavenly Jerusalem has three gates on each
of the four sides [Rev 21:12].
We are baptized in the name of the Father
and the Son and the Holy Spirit by the authority (name) of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:19
(Those who do not know the scriptures -
have now begun to immerse in water 3 times as a new trend - beware !!)
Let us live as witnesses to Christ in our
beginning and the middle till the end of our lives!
