*What is the aim of life?*

All Glory to our Heavenly father who is the Only worthy to receive all worship.
God said that man was created to live in glory to God's name and that he would multiply on earth. It is a grace given by God to man.
But, mankind never remembers that and executes or thinks selfish so he could live happily and trouble free for himself.
See few scriptures listed below in this regards :
Isa. 43:21 the people whom I formed for myself that they might declare my praise.
Isa. 60:21 Your people shall all be righteous; they shall possess the land forever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I might be glorified.
1 Cor. 10:31 ..Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Rather look for the personal benefit, ensure our speech, works, thoughts and everything is for HIS Glory.
That is what we see in Matthew 16:33. If we seek the kingdom of God first, He will take care of our needs.
