*Insulting the Supreme?*

May all Glory be to our Heavenly Father.
We are to worship with *whole hearted*.
When unable to sing to Praise with understanding the words;
Unable to listen when someone prays and say Amen;
Unable to attend the worship on time;
Unable to participate on Lord's Table;
Unable to Honour God with own benevolence;
Even when physically present but thinking else in deep thoughts at worship time;
How would any expect God to answer your prayers??
When the psalmist identify this secret, see this Psalm at the start and end;
“I give you thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart; before the gods I sing your praise; I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word(Ps. 138:1-2), he could say firmly that The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; (ps. 138:8)
When gathering in prayer;
-We should have the respect in heart that we have come to worship God.
-When you gather for worship, avoid chit-chats and maintain silence instead of inquire about the well-being of the people around you.
-The creator of the universe is present in midst and so, must come and join in due time. Being late is an insult to Him.
-As the Almighty of heaven and earth is among us, we must put down the phone so no one may be distracted and everyone shows their respect.
-Worship Him with fear and order without dancing or jumping.
-If children talk unknowingly in worship gather, adults should counsel and calm them down.
-Prayer, song, offering, Lord's Communion, and sermon are part of *God's Worship*. So without departing in between to attend your own urgent work; it is mandatory and respect to participate from beginning till end.
Even if you keep half an hour ahead on your home clock, life will not improve if obedience is not in your own heart.
You never had any reason such as child, wife, husband, guest, friend, cooking, deep sleep, bath etc to catch up a train or flight but managed perfectly to reach the spot on time well ahead early there!
Remember our situation will only get worse if God begins to inquire through His actions directly with us about your late arrival of your own negligence to attend on time and the departure in between Worship to have your urgent work etc. Then you would not be spending couple of hours a week but may have to spend the whole day with God at later stage !!
Have we become a greater authority than Him that we are unable to devote 2 hours a week to God?
Where did the fear and trembling for the Most High, who created the heavens and the earth by His own words, go?
Leaving in between and coming late to Worship is an act that insults God !
Take these verses and read to understand and apply them: Eph. 12: 28-29, 25; Ps. 2:11; 89: 7; 95: 3,8; 97: 1; 99: 1; 119: 120; 1Peter 1:17; Rev. 15: 4.
Leave the comfortness but focus to honour God with your whole heart.
Everything in life will be fine.
He will take care of our needs.
