Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave us life.
We are looking at the Names of God for the past few days.
Today we see the word : “*El-Chuwl*”
Meaning in English : The God who gave you life
It appears in the transliterated meaning in English Bible for around 58 times.
Few Scriptural references : Isa 43:1-3, Psa 139:1-3, Deut 32:18
But now, says the Lord your Maker, O Jacob, and your life-giver, O Israel: have no fear, for I have taken up your cause; naming you by your name, I have made you mine. When you go through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not go over you: when you go through the fire, you will not be burned; and the flame will have no power over you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your saviour; I have given Egypt as a price for you, Ethiopia and Seba for you. Isaiah 43:1-3
God created us for a purpose. He takes care of us. When sin distorts God's true creation, does God not say, "I killed it", but He forgives us who have sinned and gives us life again and gives us His Son so that we may be with Him everlastingly… What is the equivalent of His love?
Let us stand by taking on the role of salvation.
