Wishing you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who only is able to take us to Heaven !!
How did the thief who hung on the cross go to paradise?
Did he get baptized?
There are still people among us who keeps saying. "So why should I be baptized?"
But,
Notice the important below points of that thief on the cross, we may have not noticed yet !!
1. He knew Jesus as God !! Luke 23:40
2. He recognizes himself as a sinner !! V41
3. He knew Jesus is sinless !! V41
4. He accepted Jesus as his Lord !! V42
5. He knew there is a Kingdom of God !! V42
6. Though he knew his life is at last moment in the cross, still he believed in the eternal life !! V42
As Jesus is authorized to pardon the sins in the earth (Mt 9:6), He pardoned the thief’s sin and took him to paradise !!
After Christ’s resurrection, sinners are pardoned in baptism !!
Do not delay in obeying the Great Command !!
