Thinking of worldly life as trivial, Ap.Paul sought the gates of heaven and considered as loss everything for the Lord. Phil. 3: 7
No matter how much worldly knowledge he developed, Ap.Paul realized that the knowledge of knowing the Lord was important. Phil. 3: 8
Not Jesus as the Father,
Our Heavenly Father,
Has made him Lord, Savior, and Christ. Acts. 2:36, Phil.2:11, Ps. 110: 1, Luke 2:11, Jn. 13:13, Acts 10:36, Romans 14:11, 1 Corinthians 8: 6
It was foretold in Jeremiah's day that he would be Lord. Jer. 23: 6
To declare that Jesus is Lord is necessary for salvation !! Rom. 10: 9-12
Christ died, was buried, and rose again to be Lord of all. Rom. 14: 9
Not Jesus as father,
But Knowing that He is our Lord, when we receive the Holy Spirit !! 1 Cor.12: 3, Matt. 16: 16-17
Likewise,
growing in Truth,
Teaching decisively to thousands,
to devote his full time in the ministry,
left his medical career,
In 1983, he closed his hospital also, which was earning about 500-800 rupees a day.
without making any compromises with anyone,
standing firm in the Truth for the rest of his life,
Without bowing to anyone,
even when nothing was possible for the next dine,
although many offered to help financially,
he refused to accept because they were not in the Truth (Gen. 14:22),
he encouraged us to stand firm in the Truth despite any difficulties,
and
through the monthly magazine Devasenai (Host of God) he preached the Truth to the Tamil people and lived a challenging life for many,
he conducted several hundred biblical classes,
Author of thousands of articles exposing the Truth accurately,
And a directly appointed by the Governor of Tamil Nadu to be the Registrar of Christian Marriages (Sec.7 of CMA 1872) for Pudukottai in the capacity of District Judge (he was the last lived person in Tamil Nadu);
Who wrote many Bible lessons and taught and brought many into ministry,
Served as a preacher at Pudukkottai District Church of Christ,
And in his tenure, the last three were baptized at Kaniyakulam,
delivered his last sermon at the Church of Christ in Kaniyakulam,
Physically my dad *Dr. M. Silsbee*, Today is the day an year ago passed on to Abraham's bossom.
Because it is written in the Bible for Christians to remember only the death of Christ,
I am glad that my mother, too, refused to hold a memorial day meeting today, as she insisted not to gather exclusively to commemorate the death of man.
Although its an year from the day of our physical separation with him,
I thank our heavenly Father who helped my father to leave so much guidance to think of him in some way every last 365 days, and
Many thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for leaving the path for all of us Christians to follow in His footsteps. 1 Pet.2: 21
May our God bless me and my family to live such a triumphant Christian life to leave a good footprint for my generation too.
No matter how many trials come our way,
To keep us in the Truth daily,
To our descendants,
May God Himself still graciously bless us so that we may live in solemn devotion to the footsteps of Christ that we bear witness to.
