Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Old food, a little spoiled, improperly cooked or unclean - a mother would never want to give any kind of food like this to her young children.
She cleans the vessel, cloth and all the belongings with hot water before serving to babies. Slight error will result in yielding disease to the baby, which is dangerous to the life as well.
This reminds us the counsel of Apostle Peter.
Neither Old stuff (OT), mixure of OT & NT policies, improper preparation, personal experiences & their history, listening to sensational and emotional messages which are even better than cinema/ political stage speaches will help us to improvise the Christian faith, Let us be full of desire for the true milk of the word so that we may go on to salvation; (1 Pet 2:2-3)
For our Christian growth - Scripture reading is essential.
Decide to read for at least 10 minutes. You will understand the guidance of our Lord.
