May the Lord bless us who does Everything
amazingly and miraculously.
We are going to think about the *numbers* mentioned
in the Bible for the next ten days to understand its meaning bit deeper.
Numbers like 1, 3, 7, 12, 40, 120 are
often appears in Bible. They all has a valid meaning!
In Mark 8:18-21 …“when I divided the 5 loaves of bread for the 5,000
men. How many large baskets full of leftovers did you pick up?" They
answered, "12". Jesus said, "When I divided the 7 loaves of
bread for the 4,000 men, how many small baskets full of leftovers did you pick
up?" They answered, "7." Jesus said to them, "Do you still
not understand?"
Writing just the *gist* only.
*This is not Numerology”, We require to
deeply understand the Bible numbers. Our God is a perfect God. Who can fully
understand His knowledge?
1 (one) - Ihad in Hebrew.
“* One” - God's name * (zak 14: 9)
The number 1 is only divisible by itself.
It is independent of any other numerals
yet composes them all.
It symbolizes in the Bible the unity and
primacy, and the oneness of the Godhead.
The number 1 also represents the unity
between God the Father and His Son Jesus (John 10:30).
Jesus, by his singular sacrifice, has made
possible the forgiveness of all our sins. He is the one Mediator and Shepherd
(1Timothy 2:5; John 10:16) in the life of a Christian.
It symbolizes unity and primacy and
divinity in Scripture. Deuteronomy 6: 4, 1 John 5: 7
Jesus and the Father are “one *” (John
10:30)
One - signifies unity (John 17: 21-23)
Represents Husband-Wife & Church
respectfully (Mat 19:5, Eph 4:4-6)
