Greetings in the name of our Lord, the God of love.
Driving on the road without obeying the law may allow you to travel a little distance without any accidents. Maybe travel on a nearby road for a while .. but the day can never recover from paying the penalty for a mistake made when caught by the police one day.
Similarly Christian;
When he disobeys the doctrine of Christ and does not seem to do as Christ pleases, his penalty will be compulsorily collected on The Judgment Day. The penalty to be paid on that day, is not money, but would be the destruction of one's own soul who has fought all his life to go to heaven somehow !!
Fail to do what the apostles showed us like;
Gathering on Lord's day,
The Lord's Supper on every Lord's day,
Offering, songs, prayers, messages then,
Also, apart from Daily prayer, scripture reading etc..
There is also another problem that scripture says,
we do not love other Christians if we disobey Christ's command !!
Do not limit yourself at John 13: 34-35
John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
Without obeying the word, it is useless even you melt and cling on others !!
1Jn 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments.
1Jn 3:14-15 We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. Whoever does not love abides in death. Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
Let us obey the word of the Lord. Everything will be alright.
