May our Father God bless us.
We all want to be filled with the Spirit, just as the apostle Peter preached in the Spirit. (Acts 4: 8)
To pray in *Spirit Filled* condition
To minister in *Spirit filled* condition
To preach in *Spirit filled* condition
To Worship in *Spirit filled* condition etc..
to have such desire... is good...
But,
Bible Says in Mathew 5:3, Blessed are *the poor in spirit*, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
From the Greek word *Ptocos* this is translated as POOR, which means in poverty as like as a begger, who does not have anything and longing to have !
Many mistook this and thrive to show off themselves as poor outlook.
We see people show off themselves as Holy by;
wearing only white dress,
skip to wear slippers or shoes
carry a simple cotton hangers on their shoulders
many shave their moustaches to claim being humble
to show that they are humble in spirit !!
This is not realy what it means…the real meaning is..
We require to identify the poverty of Holy Spirit in us :
* that we require more understanding on the scriptures,
* that we are not having sufficient knowledge in applying the scripture,
* that we are not having sufficient patience to endure etc..
Upon searching of this and being fulfilled, the Heaven is ours !!
Halleluah !!
