Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ who pardoned our sins through Baptism.
To change religion,
Or to marry in another church,
To become a member of another church,
To improve one's own caste,
I have studied the scriptures for many years and now I can take it,
To work as a pastor,
That God called me directly:
- the Scripture does not say such, about baptism !!
*Following are the list of few benefits while obeying in Baptism*:
We are buried with Christ
Baptized into Christ
Coming out with Christ – Rom 6:4
We reborn as a new generation/ new birth (John 3:3-5, Titus 3:5)
Remission of sins did till that moment Mark 1:4, Luke 3:3, Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16, Col. 2:13
Receiving the Gift of The Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38, Acts 9:17-18, 1 Cor. 12:12-13)
Put on Christ - new man (Gal. 3:27, Eph. 4:24, Col. 3:10)
Put off the old man (Rom. 6:6, Eph. 4:22*, Col 3:9)
United with Christ (Rom. 6:5)
Sanctified, set apart (Eph. 5:26)
Changed life after baptism (Rom. 6:4,6, Eph. 4:22-24)
Circumcision of the heart (Col. 2:11)
Become servants of righteousness, and God (Rom.6:17-18,22)
Saved - 1 Pet. 3:21
Among the events we find in Scripture, for example, Paul, Cornelius, Lydia, the prison officer, Simeon, and 3,000 others all were baptized immediately, even at midnight..
Obey to the great commandment when the Truth is heard.
