Greetings in the name of Christ Jesus, the Son of the Most High God, who forgives fear.
We see in the Scriptures that there are Apostles, Elders (Overseers/Bishops), Pastors, Ministers, Helpers, and congregations in the Church.
It should not be assumed that these are positions in the council, such as managers, executives and supervisors above the workers in companies. These are all Responsibilities given in the congregation.
Lord means - ruler, with Authority, Master etc . Genesis 24:14
Jesus Christ, is the King, who has the highest authority and all authority in heaven and on earth. Matthew 28:18
When more than two gather, God who dwells in us walks among us. James 4: 5, Matt 18:20
If we gather to worship God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus said, “there am I in the midst of them”. Remember the highest Authority in the universe is among us. Matthew 18:20
The Statement “there am I in the midst of them” – is in Present Tense, The Real time !!
When friends are chatting and having fun, it is customary to stand to show respect and then speak quietly, if an aged or a respectable man enters in.
Knowing that the honor bestowed is "among us" who commanded us to worship with fear and trembling - how can anyone shout and scream when they gather in the name of Jesus? May be, they realized that the Lord is not among them! It is doubtful that is they keep inviting Lord in their midst !?
Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Psalm 2:11
God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. Ps 89: 7
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire. Heb 12: 28-29
Let us bow down and kneel before the Lord who made us. Psalm 95: 6
See that you give ear to his voice which comes to you. For if those whose ears were shut to the voice which came to them on earth did not go free from punishment, what chance have we of going free if we give no attention to him whose voice comes from heaven? Heb 12:25
The Lord is in his holy temple; Let the whole earth be silent before him. Habakkuk 2:20
If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple. 1 Cor 3:17
Strive to accomplish your salvation with greater fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12
May God Almighty, the Lord, the Glorious, the Merciful, the King of kings, bless us even more as we worship Him with fear and trembling.
