May The Most High God purify us further.
Based on Gen 1:27-30, A Gentleman was quoting
Christians should not eat Meat !! Further he added that God specifically
instructed in V29 to eat only Vegetables.
Read one portion and keep the Bible aside –
will end up in such wrong understanding always…
Hope the following verses clarifies:
Genesis 9:3 Every living and moving thing
will be food for you; I give them all to you as before I gave you all green
things. After the flood at Noah period, we could see such clear instruction.
Jesus ate Fish – Luke 24:42-43
He also ate lamb – Luke 22:8-15
Every food is sanctified – Acts 10:10-15
Those who are weak in heart eats only veg.
Rom 14:2
Do not think trivial or superior of those
who do not eat meat;
Neither none has the right to accuse those
who eat meat !! Rom 14:3
All that God has created is good;. 1 Tim
4:4
Know that nothing is impure. unless it
becomes "unholy" to the person who thinks it is unholy.. Rom 14:14
Do not consider God's creation (meat) as
trivial. Any substance is clean…
All you need to care is that your neighbor
should not stumble. That would be evil for you. Rom 14:20, 1 Cor 8:13
May the primary aim be to benefit all of
them to Christ.
