Where is starting of New testament?
Answer:
Testament means – Covenant / Agreement / Contract (in
general)
New Agreement should start when the Old Agreement/Testament / Covenant
seizes, which has happened at the death (physical body) of our Lord at His
Cross (Heb 9:16-17).
God, the Father had also promised about this New Covenant to Israelites
(Jer 31:31).
Jesus Christ was living under the Old Law. So, The book of Mathew, Mark, Luke
& John also covers the period of OT. Occasions mentioned about Jesus Christ
in the Gospel books are under
OT.
Principally, NT starts from Acts 2 from the 50th day, which is from
the 10th day from the Ascension of our Lord to Heaven !!
