There are things i need you to help me understand in the bible.
1)
First it is about tithes i know that we must give ten percent, now people are asking that when the tithes are given in the church what are the use of them? Do pastors benefit from tithes or not i need clear clarity on that thank you
2)
The next is thanksgiving do u necessarily sore a seed for thanksgiving
3)
Lastly is firstfruits
please can you make me understand and show me scriptures so that i can be in the light with the word of God thank you

Dear Sister,
Tithes is giving God, the 10 percent of Income.
This was commanded by God to Israelites through Moses.
Leviticus 27:30 - And every tenth part of the land, of the seed planted, or of the fruit of trees, is holy to the Lord.
Leviticus 27:32 And a tenth part of the herd and of the flock, whatever goes under the rod of the valuer, will be holy to the Lord.
We need to note that Tithes given in grain, wine, oil, honey, and all the earth.
According to Law of Moses:
The Israelites should give Tithes to "the Levites". (Ephesians 7: 5)
Levites should receive Tithes !!
We are all Gentiles (Non-Jewish) – Tithes was neither commanded to us nor the Law of Moses
Moreover, The law of Moses is finished on the cross.
Christ has given us all the new oath.
We must walk ONLY according to the New Testament.
So, how the offering is instructed according to New Testament:
- Stock your offering on 1st Day of the week - 1 Corinthians 16: 1-2
- Each one must give as he has decided in his heart - 2 Corinthians 9: 7
- Do not give according to the measure of the others - 2 Corinthians 9: 7
- He should not be sorry that he gave or feels forced to give - 2 Corinthians 9: 7, 1 Pet 4: 9
- Not by lending, but from what you have - 2 Corinthians 8:12
- Give to support the feeble/weak - Acts 20:35
- Give in exhortation - Rom 12: 8
- Giving to the needs of the saints - Romans 12:13
- Let your offering be secret - Mt 6: 3
- Give in fullness of joy - 2 Cor 8: 2
- Give with passion - 2 Corinthians 9: 7

1- John the Baptist – told to give 50% - Luke 3:11
2- Jesus Christ commend 100% - Mark 12:43
The old command is to give 10 percent. If you closely watch, Israelites gave about 33 percent per year!
* Demanding tithes from congregation - is illegal according to Bible.
* It is every congregation member’s duty & responsibility to uphold and support the Ministry & The Minister.
* The congregation should be a model in giving exemplary, enthusiastic and full-minded.
** Ministers / Preachers / Leaders / Teacher to follow this firstly …
I could see many preachers demand the congregation to support - but they never pay a single penny from their pocket – though they are rich!! This is wrong.
Collected Offering should be used for the growth of congregation.
Congregation to support the preacher, if he is unable to look after himself.
According to Bible, preacher should work for his living (2 Thess 3:10).
Sadly, Churches are turned as business centers now a days and preachers become business man practicing various wiles to collect money from congregation members.
My above clarification covers all your 3 questions.
