கிருபையுள்ள நம் கிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தினாலே வாழ்த்துக்கள். தன்னுடையது என்று விசேஷமாய் பார்த்து கொள்வதால், தன்னிறைவு அடைந்து மற்றவர்களை ஏமாளியாக்கி விடுகிறது. தான் செய்வது எல்லாம் நேர்த்தி, மற்றவன் செய்வது எல்லாம் ஒழுங்கீனம் என்று சொல்லும் பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்களை அறிவாளிகள் என்று உலகம் சொல்கிறது. மற்றவர்களை ஊக்கப்படுத்தவோ, பயிற்றுவிக்கவோ முற்படாத பட்சத்தில், அது வேதத்திற்கு விரோதமான செய்யலாக முடிகிறது (1கொரி10:24) இருபது வகையான பழக்கங்களை ஒரே மூச்சாக பவுல் சொல்லி – மொத்தமாக அவர்கள் தேவனை மறுதலிப்பவர்கள் என்கிறார்.
