நீடிய பொறுமையாய் இருந்து நம்மை எப்போதும் ஆசீர்வதிக்கும் தேவனின் கிருபை நம்மை இன்னும் ஆட்கொள்வதாக. எல்லாம் இழந்தபோதும் தேவனையே சார்ந்து பொறுமையாய் இருந்த யோபு முடிவில் இரண்டு மடங்கு ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டார். தன் சொந்த சகோதரியும் சகோதரனும் தனக்கு எதிராய் முறுமுறுத்த போதிலும் மோசே பொறுமையாய் தேவனையே சார்ந்து இருந்ததால் – தேவனே அந்த பொறுப்பை ஏற்று மோசேக்கு தன் மகிமையை காண்பித்தார். போராட்டம் தன்னை சுற்றி இருந்த வேளையிலும் பொறுமையாய் தாவீது தேவனுக்காக காத்து இருந்ததால் - பயங்கரமான குழியிலும் உளையான சேற்றிலுமிருந்து அவரை தூக்கியெடுத்து, அவர் கால்களைக் கன்மலையின்மேல் நிறுத்தி அடிகளை உறுதிப்படுத்தினார் தேவன். In the midst of struggles and cries David waited patiently for the Lord – so God drew him up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set his feet upon a rock, making his steps secure.
