(Q&A) Brother..as a Christian how do we handle situations like other faith festivals....

Brother..as a Christian how do we handle situations like other faith festivals.... 

1.Is it right to wish them happy-----:
As we know well that Jesus is the way ...and we are only encouraging them to remain in darkness
 

2.We invite them for Christmas parties ,when the invite us to their parties...??? They know well that we don't take prasadam etc.. and don't bother us .... Otherwise We share normal food.
I'm reminded of the times of Elijah ,where people of Baal one one side and he on the other side .
These days under such situations as we r in ...how to keep our witness and work for God.??

It’s very hectic time I’m passing thru this year. So busy which cannot be explained at all. Handling 12 projects at one time.. though I have 6 assistants, yet the scope is huge. But, I thank our Lord for keeping me busy.
 

In regards to your question, we have such clear picture in Act 16:3  அவனைப் பவுல் தன்னுடனே கூட்டிக்கொண்டு போகவேண்டுமென்று விரும்பி, அவனுடைய தகப்பன் கிரேக்கன் என்று அவ்விடங்களிலிருக்கும் யூதர்களெல்லாரும் அறிந்திருந்தபடியால், அவர்கள் நிமித்தம் அவனுக்கு விருத்தசேதனம் பண்ணினான்.  Though circumcision is not required, Paul did this to Timothy in order to gain or to avoid future blockages for Salvation and to keep the door opened.  Paul also says in 1Co 5:10  ஆனாலும், இவ்வுலகத்திலுள்ள விபசாரக்காரர், பொருளாசைக்காரர், கொள்ளைக்காரர், விக்கிரகாராதனைக்காரர் இவர்களோடு எவ்வளவும் கலந்திருக்கக்கூடாதென்று நான் எழுதவில்லை; அப்படியானால் நீங்கள் உலகத்தைவிட்டு நீங்கிப்போகவேண்டியதாயிருக்குமே.

Whenever I pass thru such situation, I wish them saying “HAPPY DAY” !!!
If they are so particular, they ask me why do you wish so? There I get the chance of sowing a seed, mentioning that Deepavali became Deewali and now its Deepa Oli…
Same time, I mention to them that I don’t even celebrate Christmas … there subject starts and God opens a gate..
 

We require to earn “more and more friends” so the gospel can be taken up, maintaining the Spirit in us by not mingling with them. When you don’t greet or wish, they may dis-continue and shut the door for future conversations. We are to avoid partaking their rituals but welcome/greet them specially “Happy Day, enjoy the day and may the Creator of universe keep you blessed etc…
