*The Lord's Supper is served in separate cups* Daily Dose 15 July

Wishing you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ who died, buried and risen after shedding His entire blood for us.
A gentle man questioned me quoting Luke 22:20 “After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, *This cup* is the new testament in my blood: …. why are you serving Lord’s supper in individual cups?
I asked him if so, who is now using *that particular cup*?
He got confused of his own question !!
Jesus was quoting the substance *inside the cup* not the very cup He was holding !!
Because of the fact that the scripture is not read in its entirety, back and forth, many own companies have been formed in the name of the Christian congregation and its founders and leaders have been running successful businesses.
Notice the verse:
Lk 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This *cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you*.
The Cup means here:
It refers not to the vessel in hand but to the wine in it (Luke 22:18). Therefore, it is not wrong to give in separate cups.
Furthermore, it is a mistake to use Pepsi, Miranda or any other fruit juice other than freshly prepared grape juice. Fermented grape juice cant be used !!
As you read the scriptures, put aside our self-understanding for a while and meditate on the scriptures by asking the question of who said the verse, to whom it was said, when, where and why.
The verse will work in us perfectly and correctly.
