May the ultimate comforter strengthen us.
None can comfort our pain of sickness, disability, loss of dear ones whatever way they try our heart will not accept it.
The bearer only understands its pain.
Paul was sick and highly discomforted when he missed his fellow worker Titus. 2 Cor 2:13
But he confessed the fullness when God allowed that wish. 2 Cor 7:6
This world is not permanent for us, even though the losses and suffering that come our way. This world is like living bit longer in our guest’s house. 1 Peter 1:17, Eph 11:13.
Our permanent home is not here - it is with God where we come from. Eph 2:19, Mt 10:25, 1 Jn 3: 1, Eph 12: 22-24, Phil 3:20, 2 Cor 5: 1, 8, Ps 127: 3
Therefore, let us continue to practice faith, hold fast to salvation and love for others, realizing that no one can take us back there except Christ. John 14: 6
The comfort will surely come from the Lord. 1 Thes 3:6-7
