Greetings in the name of Lord Savior Jesus Christ.
One body and one spirit, as spoken of at Ephesians 4: 4-7; Even though it is always memorized that there is only one Lord, only one faith, only one baptism, only one God and Father for all ... yet many are not satisfied with it..
Even after being baptized in water,
Many insist to be baptized with Holy spirit.
So, according to the scriptures, would it not be the second baptism? Why don't they remember that such thought is contrary to scripture?
It is dangerous to try to twist and interpret the verse according to own principles.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit was not only promised to the apostles, but was commanded to be received without leaving Jerusalem. Acts 1: 4, 5
From then, The Holy Spirit was given through the apostles only. Acts 10:44, 8: 14-17, 19: 6
What is commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ for all of us is Water baptism. Matt. 28:19.
It must be taken for the forgiveness of our sins. Acts 2:38, 22:16
