Can we blame the Baptizer if the baptized backslidden? - How long to wait for Baptizing anyone?

Question :
a.
A brother got baptized. After few months he went back to India and started to drink alcohol (his wife died suddenly). Before baptism, it was taught very clearly about salvation and baptism. He also accepted the gospel and agreed to live as per gospel and apostolic doctrines. As he has backslided later,  Is it right or can we blame the person who has baptized him?

Answer :
Human nature is tend to backslide. Especially satan tries to pull them as much as he can.
Ap.Peter realized his error, confessed and repented.
Person who baptizes anyone is never in-charge for his salvation on the baptized.
I do not see any such reference that the baptizer care the baptized from all his wrong-doings.
Of course - the baptizer / preacher is responsible to teach/correct/guide always.

Jesus warned Judas and Peter before their errors.
Peter saved, Judas hanged himself.

 Question:
b.      When we teach the gospel of Christ, if someone accepts Jesus Christ and the gospel, and willing to make covenant with Jesus, as per bible, how long we should wait and test his way of living before giving baptism.
Answer:
We see 10 cases of conversion in the book of Acts.
None of the cases were delayed after their acceptance.
All were baptized immediately.

No time frame is given in the Bible for giving Baptism.
After their confession of faith - we should not deny baptizing anyone.
if the baptism is delayed, in-case if he dies before baptism !! who bears the responsibility for that soul being sent to hell?
We have to baptize immediately.

I hope, had clarified your queries brother,
thanks,
Eddy
