Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God.
Jesus Christ committed himself to baptism to fulfill God's righteousness.
A voice came from heaven, saying, "This is my beloved Son." Matt. 3:17
It was the Holy Spirit who led this beloved Son into the wilderness. Forty days later He becomes hungry. Luke. 4: 1-2
Now,
The devil comes to arouse suspicion. Raises the question of whether the promise of "my beloved Son" announced from above at the time of Baptism still exists or has changed? He was asking Are you the Son of God? Satan tells Christ to check again… (Matt. 4: 3, 6) He tried and tempted with words of desire.
The devil, who won by his deceiving questions with Eve, was defeated by Jesus Christ. Gen. 3: 1-5
… whether in Life / Ministry or at work – *NEVER DOUBT your calling*, If you want to be victory and peaceful.
Inspite of being children of God, hardships, struggles, insults, humiliations, lashes, difficulties will come. Rom. 8: 35-37
He fulfilled the will of Heavenly Father and taught us a lesson, even when the people hung Christ on the cross. Phil. 2: 8
So, before you keep clinging firmly on your path, ensure the following was correctly selected;
1-After knowing Christ (Acts 15: 7)
2-Trust in Him (Heb. 11: 6)
3-Forgetting the old and repenting and clinging to the new (Luke 13: 3)
4-Confessing faith, not the sins (Matt. 10:32)
5-Those who are baptized for the remission of sins (Mark 16:16)
Must remain steadfast in true faith in all circumstances. (John 15: 4)
If you are not baptized according to the five steps above, it is necessary to receive it first and foremost without delay.
Otherwise, no matter how zealously you live, if rejected at Christ's judgment for not obeying the gospel of Christ properly,then in all who have lived zealously will be wasted.
Let’s fix the basics first. Everything else will come automatically !!
Christ defeated the devil because He knew his way properly. If we are to overcome satan, we must follow Christ properly.
There is no other alternative ...
