Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who will guide us in any situation.
Many Churches had turned as Societies and Christian clubs because of their "stage performers with just keep whispering "Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord, Glory, etc in closed eyes at pulpit, in the name of Holy Spirit revealing whatever *they wanted to convey* …
Do not take advantage of the purpose that the Lord Jesus Christ said !!
Pay close attention to the verse ...
Luke 12: 11-12 "And when *they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities*, do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say."
That's what we see in John 14:26 what Jesus Christ said *to the apostles* that the Holy Spirit would *remind* the apostles. That's how the apostles wrote down to us all that Jesus taught the apostles to what we are to obey, to follow etc..
As you and I go before the congregation, we need to be well-prepared in pray, to read the Scriptures, to take notes, and to prepare ourselves well for the preaching of the word of the Lord.
Listen to Paul's counsel to Timothy !!
“Give heed to reading(1), to exhortation(2), to teaching(3)" 1Tim. 4:13, Eph. 3: 3-5
You have to read and then to start advising !!
Not the story around the world,
To advertise that it happened because of your prayers,
Own fictions,
Not self-experience - but describe THE "Scripture" - Malachi 2:7
It seems that contemporary preaching platform speakers have created the situation in which Samuel was born! 1Sam. 3: 1
If the truth is to be taught properly;
The truth must be read first before preaching.
Else, it would be like disguise by keep chanting "Hallelujah Praise the Lord, Glory, Glory, Glory, Amen, Amen etc…" at the pulpit !
Scripture sharpens not only the hearers but also the speakers !!! Ps. 149: 8, Heb. 4:12, Rev. 1:16; 2:12
Let us listen to the scripture, tremble and obey before God.
Who will He bless without blessing us? 1John 5: 5
