Greetings in the name of the Son of God who blesses those who walk righteously.
It is the sight of man that judges his body. Luke 11:34
Instead of a straight forward look -
Watching someone by hiding own body,
Focusing at one side but viewing in the other direction,
Closing eyes and paying close attention,
Winking or keeping eyes closed when talking to someone,
Blinking at other while talking to one,
Pretending your eyes are closed but looking at small gap/intervals are such tricks are misguided and not a sign of good character. Matthew 6:23
The scriptures do not praise those who show such tricks !!
Instead Scripture warns that their heart is not right.
(BBE) He who makes signs with his eyes is a cause of trouble; Proverbs 10:10
(GNB) They wink and make gestures to deceive you.. Proverbs 6:13
(ESV) Why does your heart carry you away, and why do your eyes flash, Job 15:12;
(ASV) Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; Neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.. Psalm 35:19
Eye vision reveals the heart. Matt 5:29
Sight of God fall on us when our thoughts are purified. 1 Peter 3: 4
