Extending my greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ who blesses us always in satisfying our needs.
We see people catches some single word from the scripture and emphasize his view without even ready to accept any clarification. Require to come out from such blindness.
I met a gentleman once, who was arguing that Christian women should not wear any jewels quoting 1 Peter 3:3 and 1 Tim. 2:9-10. He was also talking as if, even touching a gold itself a sin !!
Wearing jewels or not, it is all upto them to decide. None can instruct and order others to wear or not as a doctrine of Christ.
If you refer this same verse In Greek and in older English versions, it describes simply as “clothes” instead of “*expensive* clothes”... Does it mean, wearing clothes and combing hair is banned? Not at all..
Modest dressing and wearing is the concern. Avoid over make-ups, glamour dressing which attract others unnecessarily.

Let the prayer, scripture, good attitude be the priority for us.
